Anish head’s Business Development for the Southern region and the RIA strategy at Karma Capital, Anish started his career in Kolkata with Nippon Asset Management and DSP Mutual Fund – and was responsible for building the business through Retail Banks like HDFC, Axis and other Wealth Management counters (HSBC, Centrum, Trust Plutus). He also managed larger Regional Distributors (Easter, SKP, Suvridhi). In 2016, Anish moved to Bangalore with HDFC MF and started the Electronic City Branch for them. He continued to help scale the branch to 300 crs within span of 2 years. After accepting an internal role he moved to manage the Wealth Management vertical in Bangalore.

Anish is an MBA from ICFAI Business School.

He joins us from Abakkus Asset Manager LLP where he was, VP Sales for South Zone, handling all south based channel partners overseeing both Sales and Sales Support Functions. The south region comprised of over 2,000 customers, 300 active distributors and an AUM of 1,500 crs.

Anish is married to Shweta and has a 5-year-old son, Atharv. He loves to travel, play cricket and badminton and to binge watch occasionally.
